DAZED reads stories, not people.
DAZED is a writing game. You spin three symbols, you type a short story, and an automated judge answers with a title, a score and a comment. That is the entire exchange. We are not assembling a portrait of your life. We do not ask for your home address, your age, your photograph, or the names of anyone you know. If a fact is not required to run the cabinet, it stays on your side of the glass.
Aslan Life Ministries does not collect a dossier of personal information. Players do not pass data to one another. There is no public marketplace of accounts, no inbox of strangers, no trading floor for phone numbers.
The story text, and almost nothing else.
When you hit submit, the words you typed — the 60-second piece, and only that text — are sent to a third-party service, OpenAI, so the judge can generate a title, ratings and a short remark. You are not attaching a passport to the paragraph. You are sending fiction. No name, email, phone number, location, photo or contact list rides along with the story.
Firebase, also a third-party service, helps the app start, stay upright, and deliver a reminder you asked for. At most, DAZED may keep a unique identifier so the game can remember progress on a device, send a push notification you switched on, and notice if the cabinet is crashing. That identifier is a ticket, not a biography. It is not your legal name.
Two seats at the table, none of them yours to share.
- OpenAI — receives the story text you typed so it can generate the judge’s reply. It does not receive a personal profile from DAZED.
- Firebase — used for app infrastructure, basic analytics, and optional push delivery. It may see a unique ID and ordinary technical signals (app version, crash traces), not a filled-in identity form.
Those companies run on their own rules. We send them only what the feature needs. We do not sell a list of writers. We do not rent the Hall of Fame.
No quiet collection behind the lever.
Users never transmit personal data to other users through DAZED. Stories stay with the device that wrote them, plus the brief trip to the judge described above. The developer does not harvest contacts, microphone audio, or a map of where you sat when the timer started. Daily reminders exist only if you turn them on. You can turn them off the same way you turned them on.
Saved stories, scores, saga progress and settings live as game state. They are there so you can reopen a favorite line, not so someone can build an advertising silhouette of you.
If the glass looks wrong, write the house.
DAZED is a creative toy, not a social network. If you believe a child has sent something they should not have, or if you want a stored unique ID cleared where that is technically possible, contact the developer and say so in plain language.
